Tidbit. I Heart WiFi!

I’m leaving for Greece in two weeks, and having some serious anxiety… does my international flight have WiFi? Well… I never checked, but for future reference I’ll be hooking up to the Hipmunk. Last month they began to display WiFi-enabled flights on their site, and now they’ve moved the feature over to their iOS app. So fly through the sky, and that firewall…. Click here for the (free) download!

Festival. @Governors Ball.
I’m not even out the door for Snowball and there’s another fest on my mind. Tom Russell, Jordan Wolowitz, and Yoni Reisman — the bro’s behind some of the biggest festivals around — have joined forces to create paramount live music experiences for fans and artists. And well, they’re off to a great start. The inaugural Governors Ball Music Festival is scheduled to take place on the island (that baby little guy next to Manhattan) on June 18th. From indie to electro they’ve got you covered. Expect to see Girl Talk, Pretty Lights and Big Boi (to name a few) with no overlapping sets. I repeat, no overlapping sets. Boys, that earns you a big ol’ #brilldotcom.

Get your ticket to ride out Governors Ball on June 18th.

Top 5 Thursday: Travel Apps

#

I’m a big believer in the blackberry but since my family made the Apple move, I’ve been in debate mode. The one thing I will say - the iPhone was made for travel, and while this isn’t new news, here are some spankin’ new apps and features on the travel screen scene.

1 AllStays Haunted Hotels

Details: This app lists 178 places you can stay (and three closed ones for the stories) with more coming over time. From bed and breakfasts in stately old buildings around New England to high-end ocean resort hotels in California, you can use this app to explore a bit of haunted history.
Favorite feature: The ability to find the nearest ones to you right now on the map view.

Hotel. Zamas Tulum.

Soak up a chill Caribbean vibe down the street from ancient Mayan monuments at this beachside resort. Laze the day away, sipping on lethal margaritas and swinging in colorful hammocks in open-air palapa-roofed cabanas. There’s eco-friendly touches like solar showers and a laid-back vibe which means shoes are optional. Hammocks, check. Hammocks, check. Hammocks…. check.

Find yourself by the sea at Zamas Tulum, on Jetsetter.com.

WOW.

!

First, he was just a man.
Then, he became a player.
Now, he is an app.

Cristiano Ronaldo is currently kicking it on the field with Spain.
I’m currently kicking it with him on an iphone.

Attempt to recreate his playing style and share scores with you friends… bla bla bla.
Just watch the collection of videos featuring the football favorite… but I won’t be sharing mine, so get your own Ronaldo Soccerade Freestyle 2010.
