Why.
Farryn (that’s me!) is Director of Social Media Worldwide for Michael Kors, and previously, the media manager and editor at Jetsetter.com of Gilt Groupe. She’s also an avid traveler herself, having circled the globe twice, ranging from China to Belize, Cambodia to Chile, Israel to Myanmar. After receiving her BFA at Tisch School of the Arts at New York University and circumnavigating the globe on Semester at Sea, her passion for exploration and travel was set. In her writing and photography, Farryn views the world with a sense of compassion, curiosity and a creative eye. In her “down time”, Farryn has hosted a travel pilot in India, worked at MTV Production & Development and National Geographic TV, as well as the assistant to fashion designer Zac Posen. Her work has been featured in DailyCandy, Gotham & Hamptons Magazine, Huffington Post and Elite Traveler. Currently, Farryn is also corresponding for Dubset.com, developing her thesis at NYU on authenticity in travel, blogging away on Jetsetfarryn.com and Jetsetter’s blog, Passport, and managing the killer band Pink Cashmere… also, she’s a startup samurai.
